BTS Leader RM Confirms New Album and World Tour for Spring 2026

ARMY, it’s time to officially start the countdown. The wait for the full OT7 reunion is entering its final stretch, and if leader RM’s recent updates are anything to go by, the payoff is going to be massive.

On Tuesday (Nov 11), RM took to X (formerly Twitter) to drop a major hype update, promising fans that the group’s new material is “really coming out great.” He rallied the fanbase with a spirited message: “Everyone is working hard. Look forward to it. 2026 Bulletproof Army Fighting.”

Mark Your Calendars: Late March
The timeline is getting clearer. During a recent appearance at W Korea’s Love Your W breast cancer charity event in Seoul, members RM, V, and J-hope spilled the tea on exactly when we can expect the magic to happen.

RM confirmed the schedule, noting that the group is currently in the thick of album prep. “We’ll shoot the album photos and film the music video,” he shared, before dropping the golden date: “Please look forward to late March.”

The chemistry is clearly back, too. J-hope jokingly asked if they should restart dance practice after their long hiatus, to which RM playfully fired back, “Let’s start tomorrow.”

Back to Business in LA
Following their discharge from mandatory military service—with the final members reuniting in July 2025—the group has wasted no time getting back into the studio.

In a sentimental post on Weverse, RM reflected on the surreal experience of living and working with his bandmates again in Los Angeles. He compared the vibe to their travel show days, saying it feels like “Bon Voyage Pyeongchang.”

“Making something ‘together’ with these friends, I’m going to commit myself to this moment,” RM wrote, adding that he is rediscovering “something I’ve forgotten for too long.”

World Tour Confirmed
The new album isn’t the only thing on the menu. During a recent livestream, the band confirmed that they are approaching this comeback with a “rookie mindset” and revealed plans for a massive world tour to accompany the Spring 2026 release.

“We’ll be visiting fans all around the world,” the group promised. “We hope you’re as excited as we are.”

Get your lightsticks ready—2026 is officially the year of BTS.
